Maxine J. Chou has extensive experience as a Financial Operations Principal during the last 25 years.  Ms. Chou is presently the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Chief Operations Officer at SEI Investments Distribution Co. (SIDCO).  SIDCO is the broker-dealer arm of SEI Investments, a publicly traded company.

Ms. Chou has executive supervisory responsibility for all financial and operational matters for SIDCO.  Prior to that, she was a Vice-President, the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Compliance Officer at Swiss Bank Corp. International Securities Inc. (now UBS).  She had overall responsibility for the firm's financial operations as well as compliance with all regulatory aspects of the SEC, NASD and other regulatory agencies.

 

In addition, Ms. Chou was a 2006 recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor (see Awards).  She is not only capable of leading her own teams within SEI, but also across the financial industry.  In the past, Maxine was actively involved in many financial industry initiatives.  Under her leadership as chairperson of a few committees, she and many other Wall Street firm members overhauled Regulation T pertaining to international settlement issues as well as redefined SEC Rules 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 through a No-Action letter (see Achievements).
